YOUR SOFA. OUR CRAFT.Here's where
we start.
- 01Show us the furniture from more than one angle.
- 02Include its dimensions and any manufacturer details.
- 03Photograph the full path to the destination room.
Suitability depends on the furniture's construction and the access. We'll discuss the options after reviewing your details.
Sectionals
A sectional is usually several pieces joined by brackets or connectors, but a single piece, such as a deep corner unit or a chaise, can still be too big for the door. We separate the sections, take apart what needs to move and reconnect everything in the room.
Sleeper sofas and recliners
Sofa beds and reclining sofas carry heavy metal mechanisms inside. Handled the right way, they can be made lighter and smaller for a tight stairwell, then rebuilt and checked so they still open and close as they should.
Beds, headboards and more
Tall upholstered headboards, oversized bed frames and other large pieces raise the same question: how does it get through? Send photos and dimensions and we'll tell you whether we can help.
A little
clarity.
01Can you help with something other than a sofa?+
Send details of the piece, such as a bed, headboard or oversized item. We'll review the request and confirm whether we can help.
02How do I know if my sectional will fit?+
Measure each piece's height, depth and length, then the doorways, hallways, stairs and elevator along the route. Our guide to getting a couch through a door explains how.
03Can you reconnect a sectional that has come apart?+
Yes. Send photos of the connectors or brackets and we'll take a look.
04Do you handle sleeper sofas?+
Yes. Sleeper sofas are heavier because of the bed mechanism, so include the brand and dimensions when you request a quote.
